Narrowcasting
Providing clear information contributes to a positive patient experience and sense of hospitality. And the added value of clear information via digital signage goes beyond patient benefits. It also benefits the efficiency of the organisation due to fewer disruptions caused by (avoidable) questions to healthcare providers.
With Logis.P Prommis Narrowcasting, the knowledge and expertise in the field of Patient Flow Management regarding informing and calling in patients through displays is combined with the 30 years of experience of Promed Audiovisual, which is now a branch of Logis.P since 2 years.
The system is ideally suited for easy content creation and targeted presentation via information screens and displays. Securely and easily deployed as a cloud solution. Whether for just one screen, a group of screens or the entire hospital, it is easy to set up per type of content and per screen.
All in the unified look-and-feel as desired by the organisation in a corporate, uniform house style.

Creating content a structured way
Logis.P Prommis digital signage forms a modern, web-based system that fully meets today's requirements and needs. Both in terms of security, performance, accessibility and
usability. In the most recent release of the updated version (V3), the look and feel has also been updated to ensure maximum ease of use and overview.
Create and manage content easily
Content creation starts with creating templates. A template is a type of document that serves as the basis for recurring types of content. For example, news items, news from the hospital, welcome pages, specific content from certain outpatient clinics, etc.
A template is created and built based on the corporate house style characteristics of the organisation. A template is the basis for a layout.
A layout is then used to lay out a page (fitting within the possibilities a user has from the template and the permissions assigned to the users profile/role).
A layout is then planned directly in the calendar. In the layout, you also immediately determine on which screens (or groups of screens) it will be shown.
Convenient scheduling
A clear view of the calendar and layouts displays in different colours which layouts are running in which groups. For each colour, it shows:
- layouts that are currently running
- continuously running layouts
- scheduled layouts
- layouts that are not planned or running yet
The Logis.P Prommis narrowcasting system also offers multiple possibilities to easily integrate with external applications/information sources.
Rapid implementation and rollout
The application can be fully customised and deployed. But to simplify set-up and use, the system comes with a standard set-up, equipped with three user profiles.
The idea behind this concept is that users have more or less functionality in terms of rights within the system. For example, an outpatient desk clerk may only want to post a short message or ticker tape for their own department, while the Communications department creates content for the entire hospital. And the distribution of rights and classification of groups lies with ICT or functional management.
The standard profiles are therefore divided into:
IT / Functional Management; including rights for:
- User management; allowing use of OAuth
- Adding and/or removing layouts
- Management reporting
Communications; organisation wide for (amongst others):
- Adding and modifying guides and templates
- Rights to add or change information for multiple or all sites
- Sharing/distributing layouts or templates with multiple departments/locations
- Accessing and managing all available widgets
Reception; site or department (outpatient) specific to perform:
- Input of information within the preset and pre-defined template
- Input text / ticker tapes in pre-defined fonts
- Schedule selected set of widgets, such as images, text and video
- Limited (specific) access to templates of own location, department or outpatient clinic.

Optimal patient journey at Saxenburgh Medical Centre
